Millennium Challenge Account – Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) organized a kick-off meeting of individual consultants’ work to provide Cost Recovery technical assistance to the Water Services Regularity Commission (WSRC) on May 15, 2020, in the conference hall of the WSRC office.

As the accountable entity to implement the Mongolia Water Compact, MCA-Mongolia organized public consultation and stakeholder engagement meetings at Khan-Uul district from May 4 to May 6, 2020. The meetings introduced and collected feedback on the detailed design work of the Downstream Wells Activity, a key component of the Compact.

H.E Michael Klecheski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Mongolia, paid a visit to the Millennium Challenge Account – Mongolia’s office to get updated on its daily operations and progress of the Compact implementation.

The Government of Mongolia, through Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia now invites sealed quotations from legally constituted IT equipment suppliers for Supply and Installation of UPS for the Server room of MCA-Mongolia Office. More details on these Goods are provided in the Request for Quotations (RFQ) document. The selection will be conducted through the shopping procedures as specified in the MCC Program Procurement Guidelines (PPG) and is open to all eligible suppliers as defined in the RFQ.

The Government of Mongolia, through Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia now invites sealed quotations from legally constituted Software suppliers for following three (3) lots of Supply of Application /MIS/ Software for MCA-Mongolia. Lot 1: Licensed Software of Adobe /Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator/; Lot 2: Licensed Software of AutoCAD; and Lot 3: Licensed Software of ArcGIS. The United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of Mongolia (the Government) have entered into a Millennium Challenge Compact for Millennium Challenge Account assistance to help facilitate poverty reduction through economic growth in Mongolia (the Compact) in the amount of approximately 350 million USD (MCC Funding). The Government, acting through Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) intends to apply a portion of the MCC Funding to payments for contracts for goods, works and services. This General Procurement Notice for the period from April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021 includes the following procurement items.

Ulaanbaatar, November 12, 2019 - A delegation from the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) led by Vice President of the Department of Compact Operations Anthony Welcher visited Mongolia from November 10 to November 13, 2019 to observe implementation progress of the Mongolia Water Compact. The MCC officials received updates on the status of the Compact implementation and of the Conditions Precedent (CPs) the Government of Mongolia has to fulfill under the Compact.
