Wastewater Recycling Plant Commences Wastewater Intake

Construction work on the Wastewater Recycling Plant has been fully completed, and the testing and commissioning phase has officially begun. The plant has started receiving up to 50,000 cubic meters per day of wastewater from the new Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, in compliance with MNS 4943:2015 standards, and has commenced equipment testing operations. The treated water will be recycled and supplied for technical use at combined heat and power plants, specifically for cooling towers and ash removal purposes.
