MCA-Mongolia CEO E.Sodontogos, Deputy CEO S.Zorigt and Director of Wastewater Recycling Activity T.Khishigt and new CWWTP PIU Coordinator Ch.Bolorchuluun and Project Engineer D.Ankhbat took part in the meeting and had constructive discussions on important issues where the two projects could develop effective synergies.

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MCA-Mongolia was held on September 03, 2020, in Tuul Conference room at MCA-Mongolia. The meeting was chaired by B. Munkhjin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and attended by Board members, MCA-Mongolia senior management and relevant directors, as well as Michael S. Klecheski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Mongolia.

Millennium Challenge Account – Mongolia signed an Implementing Entity Agreement with Water Services Regulatory Commission of Mongolia (WSRC) to collaborate on the development and approval of the Cost Recovery Plan, a detailed plan to ensure a long-term financial and operational sustainability of water services in Ulaanbaatar.

MCA-Mongolia now invites applications for pre-qualification for the Construction of Groundwater Well-pump House and Conveyance. As per the guidance in the Instructions to Applicants, Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the minimum requirements stated in the Pre-Qualification Document (“PQD”) to pre-qualify. The Qualification Criteria, Works Requirements and Application Forms are included in the PQD.

Publish What You Fund (PWYF) has released its 2020 Aid Transparency Index, ranking the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) as first among U.S. federal agencies and seventh in the world for aid transparency. The Aid Transparency Index is an independent measure of foreign aid transparency among the world’s major development and donor agencies and is released every two years.
