The Responsible for overseeing the installation of electric equipment and assembly of electrical components on water transmission pipeline, water storage tank, booster pumping station, Wastewater Recycling Plant, and modification works within CHPPs (power supply substation for the new raw water pumping station in the CHPP #4, power supply to installed valves, power supply to antiscalants dosing stations, power supply for measuring devices and control systems, installation of electric equipment, power and control cables within the CHPPs,

Responsible for overseeing the installation of water transmission main pipeline from the Wastewater Recycling Plant to the CHPPs, branch pipelines from main to points within the fences of the CHPPs, branch pipelines to the cooling towers within the CHPPs, installation of shut-off and control valves on the main and branch pipelines, and pipelines to the cooling towers with the CHPPs, and mounting the new pipes within the CHPPs and pumping stations (raw water pumping station at CHPP #4, booster pumping station nearby CHPP #3, pumping stations at the Wastewater Recycling Plant),

Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) is funding and implementing the consultancy service for developing the Water Data Management System. Astvision LLC has been selected as the winning consultant to develop an integrated data management system platform that allows public and private sector stakeholders involved in industrial pretreatment to easily exchange information with each other. The contractor has started the work since signing the contract in July 2022.

The MCA-Mongolia now invites quotations from legally constituted suppliers for the Supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Technical descriptions for these Goods are provided in the RFQ document.

MCA Mongolia participated with the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development and introduced the MCC-Mongolia Water Compact, which contributes to the “Sixth goal: Clean water and Sanitation – Ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” of SDG.

September 10th is the Remembrance Day for Victims of Political Repression in Mongolia. For this year’s occasion, S.Odontuya, Member of Parliament and head of the State Acquittal Committee, B.Khuyagbaatar, Chairman of Songinokhairkhan District's Citizens' Representative Khural, and other officials as well as representatives from the victims’ families paid tribute and laid flowers at the memorial monument for the victims of the political repressions that is located at the foot of Songinokhairkhan mountain.

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MCA-Mongolia was held on September 08, 2022, in Tuul Conference room at MCA-Mongolia. The meeting was chaired by B. Munkhjin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and attended by Board members, including MCC Resident Country Director Tina Yu and MCA-Mongolia Interim Chief Executive Officer D.Enkhjargal as well as MCA-Mongolia Chief Operating Officer D.Khulan, Acting Deputy CEO T.Enkhtungalag and other relevant directors of MCA-Mongolia.

MCA- Mongolia organized an experience-sharing and lessons learned workshop on the current gender and social inclusion activities that were implemented as part of the Water Compact among the infrastructure contractors - MAPA INSAAT, a Turkish company, and MCS Properties LLC, a Mongolian company.
