As part of the joint efforts to enforce the Industrial Pre-treatment plan approved by Government Resolution No. 53 dated March 03, 2020, Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) is funding and implementing the consultancy service for developing the Water Data Management System.



Astvision LLC has been selected as the winning consultant to develop an integrated data management system platform that allows public and private sector stakeholders involved in industrial pretreatment to easily exchange information with each other. The contractor has started the work since signing the contract in July 2022.



MCA-Mongolia and Astvision LLC jointly organized the kick-off meeting on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the conference hall of Millennium Plaza Hotel.





During the meeting, Astvision presented its detailed work plan on the methodology and activities for developing the data management system to the representatives of the stakeholders including the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Government Implementing Agency- Water Agency, USUG, Water Services Regulatory Commission, Tuul River Basin Authority, Mongolian Association of Leather Industries, Mongolian Association of Cashmere and Wool Industries, and Mongolian Food Industry Association. Stakeholders provided feedback and recommendations on the work plan and expressed their appreciation as well as commitment to closely collaborate during the project by providing necessary data and information to the consultant. The consultant will develop the water data management system for the duration of 16 months and upon completion, will hand it over to the Water Agency.
