Founder of "Universal Progress", an association for people with disabilities Mr. Ch.Undrakhbayar visited the MCA-Mongolia office at the invitation of the MCA-Mongolia Gender and Social Inclusion Team, and presented on the topic of "Universal Design -Friendly Environment".

MCA-Mongolia provided a training session on MCC-Mongolia Water Compact to participants of “KAS College for Environmental Journalism 2022”, organized by the Press Institute of Mongolia with the support of Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Germany. During the training session, B.Batsukh, Director of Downstream Wells Activity, and L.Unurjargal, Director of Sustainability, MCA-Mongolia presented on Ulaanbaatar Bulk Water Supply Project under the MCC-Mongolia Water Compact. N.Odkhuu, head of the Engineering Policy Department of Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (USUG) also briefed on the current state of water supply and services in Ulaanbaatar.

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTS

The MCA-Mongolia now invites quotations from legally constituted suppliers for the Supply of Memorabilia and Branded items with MCA-Mongolia and MCC Insignia. Technical descriptions for these Goods are provided in the RFQ document.

MCA-Mongolia organized a site visit to the construction site of the Advanced Water Purification Plant, which is currently under construction at the eastern foot of Songinokhairkhan Mountain, to share experience on ensuring gender equity and social inclusion in the implementation of the projects and activities under the Mongolia Water Compact. More than 20 representatives from the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development (MCUD) participated in the site visit.

MCA-Mongolia program directors and relevant specialists had a working meeting with representatives from Tuul River Basin Authority and provided information on the Ulaanbaatar Bulk Water Supply Project under the MCC-Mongolia Water Compact and its implementation status.

MCA-Mongolia organized a round table discussion on the topic "Increasing the Employment of Women in the Construction Sector” on October 3, 2022 and representatives from MCA-Mongolia contractors such as “MAPA Insaat”, a Turkish company, “Baran Group”, from Israel and local company “MCS Properties”, officials from the Labor Welfare Department of Khan-Uul and Songinokhairkhan Districts which are considered as project-affected areas and relevant directors and specialists from MCC and MCA-Mongolia.
