Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia now invites proposals from legally constituted consulting firms to provide consultant services for Design Development of Social Behavior Change Interventions for Mongolia Water Compact. More details on these consultant services are provided in the Terms of Reference.

As a part of the Conditions Precedent to the Compact’s entry into force, MCA-Mongolia, in cooperation with the relevant ministries and agencies, developed “Industrial Pre-Treatment Plan”, which was approved by the Government Resolution No. 53 dated March 03, 2021 and being implemented by the the relevant ministries and agencies under the leadership of the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development.

The Ger Area Cost Containment Sub-Activity is being implemented under the Water Sector Sustainability Activity, as part of the Mongolia Water Compact between the Government of Mongolia and the Millennium Challenge Corporation ("MCC"). The sub-activity supports efforts to curtail the high costs that USUG bears for providing water through the system of water kiosks in the ger area of Ulaanbaatar.

The Water Specialist will provide a wide range of engineering and project management and oversight support to the Director of Downstream Wells and assist the Director in her/his responsibility for the implementation of water projects, including review of shop drawings, assuring adequacy of designs and drawings for construction, review of implementation progress and risks, and review of Interim Payment Certificate (IPC).

MCA-Mongolia now invites Bids for the Construction of the Conveyance System and CHPP-3 and CHPP-4's Modification and SCADA. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice that appeared in dgMarket online, UN Development Business (“UNDB”) online, National Mongolian Portal - www.ikon.mn, Mongolian daily newspaper Udriin Sonin (Daily News) and on the MCA-Mongolia’s website: www.mca-mongolia.gov.mn on February 10, 2022, and “Unuudur” newspaper on February 11, 2022.

The MCA-Mongolia now invites quotations from legally constituted suppliers for the Procurement of Office Accessories and Equipment. Technical descriptions for these Goods are provided in the RFQ document.

MCA-Mongolia now seeks Qualification Information from eligible Training Service Providers/ Consultant Firms to provide Business English Training for MCA-Mongolia staff. Details of the services are provided in the Terms of Reference. The selection will be conducted through the Consultants’ Qualification Selection (CQS) procedures as specified in the MCC Program Procurement Guidelines (PPG) and is open to all eligible consultant firms as defined in the RQI.

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MCA-Mongolia was held on December 15, 2022, at the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia.

MCA-Mongolia intends to invite Bids for the Construction of the Conveyance System and CHPP-3 and CHPP-4's Modification and SCADA in early January 2023.
