SOCIAL AND GENDER INCLUSION SAFEGUARD OFFICER FOR ADVANCED WATER PURIFICATION PLANT PROJECT
Closing Date: November 30, 2022
Main Responsibilities:
- To be able to understand the special requirements of the Project,
- Prepare the necessarry documents such as Monthly Progress Reports, Indicator Tracking Tables and any other documentation or reports related to the Project,
- Check the site and conduct the site-related Works within the scope of the Project,
- To give induction and refreshment/toolbox trainings to Mongolian staff,
- Recording all relevant matters concerning site social issues management, inspections and monitoring,
- Ensuring the design and delivery of effective information campaigns using all media,
- Ensure the follow-up of Community related activities conducted by our stakeholders,
- Ensure communication with the stakeholders, NGO’s etc.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum Bachelors’ Degree on Social Sciences, Masters Degree is preferable,
- Good cooperation and communication skills with positive attitute,
- Good reporting skills,
- Good computerial skills enough to prepare the necesarry Project documents such as Word, Excel etc.
- To be able to work in long working hours (overtime) and to be able to work in a construction site
Language Skills:
- Good command of English,
- Knowledge of Turkish is an asset,
Key Skills for the Job:
- Good and mature communication skills to be able to establish good relations with all Project stakeholders such as the Engineer, Client, Governmental organizations, NGO’s, Khooro and District Officials etc.
- Good understanding of social risks and gender-based issues, knowledge in gender based violence, sexual harrassment in the work place and Counter-Trafficking in Person issues,
- Knowledge of international IFC Standards,
- Work organization and self-discipline,
- Good learning skills,
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Social Project
