Millennium Challenge Account - Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) successfully organized a Kick-Off Meeting for the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) Implementation of Wastewater Recycling Activity (WRA) which aims to officially commence the WRA RAP implementation, to sign Implementing Entity Agreement (IEA) between MCA-Mongolia and the Land Management Department of Capital City and handing over the WRA RAP to the Land Management Department of Capital City.

Millennium Challenge Account - Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) participated in the "Blue Gold" national water forum organized by the Office of the President of Mongolia, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, and the Water Department at the initiative of the President of Mongolia U. Khurelsukh on the occasion of World Water Day.

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MCA-Mongolia was held on March 22, 2023, at the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia. The meeting was chaired by S. Mungunchimeg, the Board Chair of MCA-Mongolia and Deputy Minister of Finance, and attended by members of the Board of Directors, including MCC Resident Country Director Tina Yu and MCA-Mongolia Chief Executive Officer E.Enkhgerel and other relevant directors and staff of MCA-Mongolia.

As part of this year's World Water Day, the 7-day virtual World Water Run is traditionally being organized around the world. MCA-Mongolia staff has joined the virtual run to run and walk a total of 100 km, aiming to raise public awareness of water issues and contribute to changing social attitudes towards water and accelerating positive changes and completed the goal on March 19 2023. MCA-Mongolia organized a Consultative Meeting for Scope Definition of the Project “Improving Data, Planning, and Coordination of Ulaanbaatar Ger Area Truck-Fed Water Supply Infrastructure” on March 10, 2023, one of the components of the Ger Area Cost Containment Sub-activity under Water Sector Sustainability Activity, which is being implemented as part of the Mongolia Water Compact.

The MCA-Mongolia now invites quotations from legally constituted suppliers for the Procurement of Computers and Equipment. Technical descriptions for these Goods are provided in the RFQ document. The selection will be conducted through the Shopping procedures specified in the MCC Program Procurement Guidelines (PPG) and is open to all eligible suppliers as defined in the RFQ.

The Executive Secretary is responsible for the daily organization of the schedule, work flow, and communications of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The position maintains open communication lines to support the functions of the CEO’s office while ensuring compliance with established knowledge management and information security protocols.

MCA-Mongolia successfully organized a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference for the procurement of the Consulting Service for Design Development of Social Behavior Change Interventions for Mongolia Water Compact on March 1, 2023, one of the key components of the Water Sector Sustainability Activity under the Mongolia Water Compact. A total of 28 representatives of 17 international and local companies participated in the Pre-Proposal Conference.

MCA-Mongolia now invites submissions of consultants’ Qualification Information from eligible Training Service Providers/ Consultant Firms to provide Training Services on FIDIC Contracts and Conditions for MCA-Mongolia staff. Details of the services are provided in the Terms of Reference.
