On the occasion of International Children’s Day, which falls on June 1 and World Environment Day, which falls on June 5, MCA-Mongolia, in cooperation with Water Supply and Sewerage Authority of Ulaanbaatar city, successfully organized “Let’s Paint Water” painting event among children on June 1, 2022 in the National Park of Ulaanbaatar city. More than 100 children took part in the event, painting water and bring their imagination about water to life on paper.

MCA-Mongolia successfully organized a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference for the procurement of Consultant Services for External Legal Counsel on May 25, 2022. Representatives of interested legal firms participated in the conference.

The General Counsel serves as the principal legal officer for the management team and the Board of Directors of MCA-Mongolia. In this capacity, the General Counsel develops and provides policy advice and opinions on a wide range of legal matters. The General Counsel also serves as the corporate secretary to the Board of MCA-Mongolia.

Representatives of 17 international and local companies participated in the conference. The aim of the Pre-Bid Conference was to provide presentations on the works to be performed under the contract, explain the procurement process, and provide bidders with an opportunity to ask questions directly related to the bidding documents.

The MCA-Mongolia now invites quotations from eligible service providers for the Support for Organizing an Outreach Event “Let’s Paint Water”, on International Children’s Day and World Environment Day, June 1, 2022. Details of the services are provided in the Scope of Services in the RFQ document.

Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia signed a Wastewater Recycling Plant Design-Build Contract with MCS Property LLC, which is the winning bidder of the procurement for the Wastewater Recycling Plant Design-Build, on May 10, 2022.

The System Engineer, under the Information Technology Manager, is responsible for the delivery and administration of IT-related services to ensure smooth, security, and uninterrupted operation of MCA-Mongolia, including software and network server infrastructure, server room equipment, and regular maintenance and oversight.

The Executive Assistant, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), is responsible for providing executive support including coordinating appointments, drafting correspondence, and maintaining files to support efficient flow of information of the Chief Operating Officer and concerned parties within and outside the MCA-Mongolia.
