
World Water Week organized by SIWI in Stockholm, Sweden, since 1991 is one of the major annual water conferences that focuses on finding solutions to the global water issues. Around 4000 people from more than 135 countries attend the conference every year.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, World Water Week 2021 will go entirely digital under the theme Building Resilience Faster. World Water Week 2021 offers more than 400 sessions free and it is also possible to purchase a networking pass which gives access to post-session discussions and other social activities.
It offers an unusual mix of participants and perspectives, with sessions on a broad array of water-related topics, ranging from food security and health, to agriculture, technology, biodiversity, and the climate crisis. World Water Week aims to link scientific understanding with policy and decision-making provide concrete solutions to water, environmental and development challenges.
The programme content is organized around Challenges that needs to be tackled, and Accelerators, competences we need to solve the Challenges – better, faster, and together.
