WSRC IS PROVIDING TIMELY COORDINATION TO THE OPERATIONS OF PRIVATE KONTORS

WSRC has approved 10 requests of utility service providing private kontors to change their scope of services in their special license. As a result, a total of 2500 households and private entities will receive service from special license holding kontors. Furthermore, WSRC will be receiving requests/complaints of companies and citizens through info@wsrc.mn email address .

TRILATERAL MEETINGS DISCUSS INDUSTRIAL PRE-TREATMENT PLAN AND COST RECOVERY PLAN ONLINE
MCA-Mongolia has switched to online operation due to COVID-19 restrictions and successfully held trilateral online meetings to discuss CRP and IPP on November 19 and 20, 2020 respectively. Representatives from the U.S Millennium Challenge Corporation, the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, WSRC, and MCA-Mongolia took part in the online meetings.

VIRAL PROTEIN FOUND IN THE DRINKING WATER OF “ASTRA VILLA” AND “GENERAL TOWN” APARTMENTS
According to earlier complaints by the residents of Astra Villa and General Town apartments, Specialized Inspection Agency has taken samples from their water and tested. The test result showed that the level of virus infection is above the standard and found viral protein. Therefore, Special Inspection Agency and USUG have been taking necessary measures to provide drinking water to the residents twice a day and clean and sanitize the wells.

SPECIAL INSPECTION AGENCY ORGANIZES THOROUGH INSPECTION DUE TO COVID-19 SPREAD
Tactical Headquarters of SIA monitors the readiness of state emergency facilities, the safety of drinking water, the operation of domestic and pre-treatment facilities, and the level of their cleanliness. Within the framework of this work, samples were taken from the sewage inlet and outlet of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant and the National Center for Infectious Diseases and tested for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Laboratory of Chemistry, Bacteriology and Polio.
The recycled wastewater thrown into the environment meets the requirements of MNS 4943: 2015 standard. Chlorination is being carried out at different locations of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant.
